Professional experience <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Research Associate in Academia<br \/>\n<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong>RTE-SNCF<\/strong> (Oct 2023 \u2013 \u2026) A project with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rte-france.com\/\">RTE<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/SNCF\">SNCF<\/a>, also in collaboration with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eurobios.com\/\">Eurobios<\/a>. Machine learning, operational research, and network science, toward modern scalable predictive maintenance.<\/li>\n<li><strong>AIfluence project<\/strong> (Jan 2021 \u2013 Oct 2022) is a project funded by the Region \u00cele-de-France and allows the collaboration between <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/SNCF\">SNCF<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.quantmetry.com\/\">Quantmetry<\/a> for the forecasting of the passengers\u2019 affluence (ticket validations) on the public railway transportation system of the Region. Center Borelli is the third partner holding the scientific responsibility. I am the primary responsible for the Centre Borelli side.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 1.65;\"><strong>MORANE project <\/strong>(Sep. 2016 \u2013 2018) was launched in collaboration with <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/SNCF\">SNCF<\/a>, the French National Railway Company. The project is on the modeling and the study of transportation circulation and the aim is to investigate various related problems.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 1.65;\"><strong>CITEPH project <\/strong>(Sep. 2016 \u2013 2017) was in collaboration with <a class=\"broken_link\" href=\"http:\/\/www.slb.com\/\">Schlumberger<\/a> and is on the study of geological data originating from oil wells. I work on the side of ENS Cachan to provide related solutions.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 1.65;\"><strong>Sodatech project <\/strong>(Sep. 2013 \u2013 Sep 2016) which was funded by the French government in the frame of the program \u201c<em>Investments for the Future \u2013 Big Data<\/em>\u201c<strong>. <\/strong>The project is related to diffusion processes and marketing in social networks. My role was to be the primary research coordinator and responsible for the side of CMLA. The project employed 3 researchers, 1 PhD student, and 1 research engineer. Various ideas were developed as academic side-projects in collaboration with intern students (at License and Masters level) that we supervised.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 1.65;\"><strong>Data Mining and Decision Support Tasks<\/strong> in the framework of the E.U. research program <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 1.65;\"><strong>ARTreat<\/strong> (<a class=\"broken_link\" href=\"http:\/\/www.artreat.org\">www.artreat.org<\/a>) funded by FP7-224297 \u2013 Large-scale Integrating Project (IP), 10 <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 1.65;\">months during 2010\u20132012. Objective: Development of data mining and decision support <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 1.65;\">systems for the atherosclerosis of the coronary arteries based on patient records.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 1.65;\"><strong>Cheminformatics project:<\/strong> <em>Rapid automatic identification of natural products in crude ex<\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 1.65;\"><em>tracts based on NMR data<\/em> (collaboration between Dept. of Computer Science and Dept. of <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 1.65;\">Chemistry, University of Ioannina). Collaborators: <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 1.65;\">V.G. Kontogianni and A.
